But he must ask in faith without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed around by the wind.

But get up, ¹  go down, and accompany them without hesitation, ²  because I have sent them.”

Do everything without grumbling or arguing,

And have mercy on those who waver;

So I want the men ¹  to pray ²  in every place, lifting up holy hands ³  without anger or dispute.

The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers ¹  also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.

ס (Samek) I hate people with divided loyalties, ¹  but I love your law.

The disciples began to look at one another, worried and perplexed ¹  to know which of them he was talking about.

Then ¹  he said to them, “Why are you frightened, ²  and why do doubts ³  arise in your hearts?

Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, ¹  and that they are my people, the house of Israel, declares the sovereign Lord. ² 

And while they still could not believe it ¹  (because of their joy) and were amazed, ²  he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” ³ 

Therefore we must not pass judgment on one another, but rather determine never to place an obstacle or a trap before a brother or sister. ¹ 

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, ¹  full of mercy and good fruit, ²  impartial, and not hypocritical. ³ 

Then he said to Thomas, “Put ¹  your finger here, and examine ²  my hands. Extend ³  your hand and put it ⁴  into my side. Do not continue in your unbelief, but believe.” ⁵ 

Jesus ¹  answered them, “I tell you the truth, ²  if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
