At ¹  that time ²  a great disturbance ³  took place concerning the Way. ⁴ 

At daybreak ¹  there was great consternation ²  among the soldiers over what had become of Peter.

which I was doing when they found me in the temple, ritually purified, ¹  without a crowd or a disturbance. ² 

All of them conspired together to move with armed forces ¹  against Jerusalem and to create a disturbance in it.

for their hearts contemplate violence, and their lips speak harm. ¹ 

After the disturbance had ended, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging ¹  them and saying farewell, ²  he left to go to Macedonia. ³ 

for before the law was given, ¹  sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin ²  when there is no law.

But some in the crowd shouted one thing, and others something else, ¹  and when the commanding officer ²  was unable ³  to find out the truth ⁴  because of the disturbance, ⁵  he ordered Paul ⁶  to be brought into the barracks. ⁷ 

For we have found ¹  this man to be a troublemaker, ²  one who stirs up riots ³  among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader ⁴  of the sect of the Nazarenes. ⁵
