Now ¹  he was casting out a demon that was mute. ²  When ³  the demon had gone out, the man who had been mute began to speak, ⁴  and the crowds were amazed.

The crowd ¹  answered, “You’re possessed by a demon! ²  Who is trying to kill you?” ³ 

Others said, “These are not the words ¹  of someone possessed by a demon. A demon cannot cause the blind to see, ²  can it?” ³ 

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon!’ ¹ 

Then ¹  Jesus rebuked ²  the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment.

She went home and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

Now ¹  in the synagogue ²  there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean ³  demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

For John the Baptist has come ¹  eating no bread and drinking no wine, ²  and you say, ‘He has a demon!’ ³ 

Jesus answered, “I am not possessed by a demon, ¹  but I honor my Father – and yet ²  you dishonor me.

Many of them were saying, “He is possessed by a demon and has lost his mind! ¹  Why do you listen to him?”

As ¹  they were going away, ²  a man who could not talk and was demon-possessed was brought to him.

Then ¹  he said to her, “Because you said this, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.”

The Judeans ¹  replied, ²  “Aren’t we correct in saying ³  that you are a Samaritan and are possessed by a demon?” ⁴ 

Those who had seen what had happened to the demon-possessed man reported it, and they also told about the pigs.

As he was getting into the boat the man who had been demon-possessed asked if he could go ¹  with him.

Those ¹  who had seen it told them how the man who had been demon-possessed had been healed. ² 

After the demon was cast out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowds were amazed and said, “Never has anything like this been seen in Israel!”

Then they brought to him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus ¹  healed him so that he could speak and see. ² 

The woman was a Greek, of Syrophoenician origin. She ¹  asked him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

But ¹  Jesus rebuked him: ²  “Silence! Come out of him!” ³  Then, after the demon threw the man ⁴  down in their midst, he came out of him without hurting him. ⁵
