You are to attach to it a blue cord so that it will be ¹  on the turban; it is to be ²  on the front of the turban,

They attached to it a blue cord, to attach it to the turban above, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Although an assailant may overpower ¹  one person, two can withstand him. Moreover, a three-stranded cord is not quickly broken.

Is not their excess wealth ¹  taken away from them? ²  They die, ³  yet without attaining wisdom. ⁴

Then Rahab ¹  let them down by a rope ²  through the window. (Her ³  house was built as part of the city wall; she lived in the wall.) ⁴ 

For the Lord’s allotment is his people, Jacob is his special possession. ¹
