For our enemies’ ¹  rock is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede.

For I will proclaim the name ¹  of the Lord; you must acknowledge the greatness of our God.

So ¹  they replied that they did not know ²  where it came from.

Relent, ¹  let there be no falsehood; ²  reconsider, ³  for my righteousness is intact! ⁴ 

I will denounce your so-called righteousness and your deeds, ¹  but they will not help you.

I will never ¹  declare that you three ²  are in the right; until I die, I will not set aside my integrity!

So ¹  they answered Jesus, ²  “We don’t know.” ³  Then he said to them, “Neither will I tell you ⁴  by what authority ⁵  I am doing these things.
