Some people ¹  came bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. ² 

A crowd of people from the towns around Jerusalem ¹  also came together, bringing the sick and those troubled by unclean spirits. ²  They ³  were all ⁴  being healed.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people. ¹ 

Now ¹  people were bringing little children to him for him to touch, ²  but the disciples scolded those who brought them. ³ 

Moses instructed them to take ¹  his message ²  throughout the camp, saying, “Let no man or woman do any more work for the offering for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing any more. ³ 

Then people will come here from the towns in Judah, from the villages surrounding Jerusalem, from the territory of Benjamin, from the western foothills, from the southern hill country, and from the southern part of Judah. They will come bringing offerings to the temple of the Lord: burnt offerings, sacrifices, grain offerings, and incense along with their thank offerings. ¹ 

Now people ¹  were even bringing their babies ²  to him for him to touch. ³  But when the disciples saw it, they began to scold those who brought them. ⁴ 

Nicodemus, the man who had previously come to Jesus ¹  at night, ²  accompanied Joseph, ³  carrying a mixture of myrrh and aloes ⁴  weighing about seventy-five pounds. ⁵ 

When he arrived, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him, ¹  bringing many serious ²  charges that they were not able to prove. ³ 

For the Lord your God is bringing you to a good land, a land of brooks, ¹  springs, and fountains flowing forth in valleys and hills,

For it was fitting for him, for whom and through whom all things exist, ¹  in bringing many sons to glory, to make the pioneer ²  of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

For you are bringing some surprising things ¹  to our ears, so we want to know what they ²  mean.”

In those days I saw people in Judah treading winepresses on the Sabbath, bringing in heaps of grain and loading them onto donkeys, along with wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of loads, and bringing them to Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. So I warned them on the day that they sold these provisions.

and told Moses, “The people are bringing much more than ¹  is needed for the completion ²  of the work which the Lord commanded us to do!” ³ 

That is why the Lord’s anger erupted against this land, bringing on it all the curses ¹  written in this scroll.

The one who weeps as he walks along, carrying his bag ¹  of seed, will certainly come in with a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves of grain. ² 

for the law made nothing perfect. On the other hand a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

You must not do as they do in the land of Egypt where you have been living, ¹  and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan into which I am about to bring you; ²  you must not ³  walk in their statutes.

“‘You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations, ¹  so that ²  the land to which I am about to bring you to take up residence there does not vomit you out.

when someone told me that Saul was dead – even though he thought he was bringing good news ¹  – I seized him and killed him in Ziklag. That was the good news I gave to him!
