Their southern border started at the southern tip of the Salt Sea, ¹ 

It then crossed to the slope of Beth Hoglah to the north and ended at the northern tip of the Salt Sea ¹  at the mouth of the Jordan River. ²  This was the southern border.

When day came, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed ¹  a bay ²  with a beach, ³  where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.

The eastern border was the Salt Sea to the mouth ¹  of the Jordan River. ²  The northern border started north of the Salt Sea at the mouth of the Jordan, ³ 

to the third white horses, and to the fourth spotted horses, all of them strong. ¹ 

Harnessed to the first chariot were red horses, to the second black horses,

I was attentive that night and saw a man seated ¹  on a red horse that stood among some myrtle trees ²  in the ravine. Behind him were red, sorrel, ³  and white horses.

I have seen ruthless evil men ¹  growing in influence, like a green tree grows in its native soil. ² 

From there we cast off ¹  and arrived at Rhegium, ²  and after one day a south wind sprang up ³  and on the second day we came to Puteoli. ⁴ 

All these strong ones ¹  are scattering; they have sought permission to go and walk about over the earth.” The Lord had said, “Go! Walk about over the earth!” So they are doing so.
