(For not even his own brothers believed in him.) ¹ 

concerning sin, because ¹  they do not believe in me; ² 

“Do not let your hearts be distressed. ¹  You believe in God; ²  believe also in me.

But because I am telling you ¹  the truth, you do not believe me.

The man ¹  replied, ²  “And who is he, sir, that ³  I may believe in him?”

If I do not perform ¹  the deeds ²  of my Father, do not believe me.

This became known throughout all ¹  Joppa, and many believed in the Lord. ² 

So ¹  we see that they could not enter because of unbelief.

And ¹  in that you saw iron mixed with wet clay, so people will be mixed ²  with one another ³  without adhering to one another, just as ⁴  iron does not mix with clay.

The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

He came as a witness ¹  to testify ²  about the light, so that everyone ³  might believe through him.

The ¹  hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed ²  turned ³  to the Lord.

As a result you became an example ¹  to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.

And so ¹  all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned. ² 

He ¹  said, “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God ²  is near. Repent and believe the gospel!”

So ¹  he said to them, “You ²  foolish people ³  – how slow of heart ⁴  to believe ⁵  all that the prophets have spoken!

But to all who have received him – those who believe in his name ¹  – he has given the right to become God’s children

If I have told you people ¹  about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? ² 

nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.

So they said to him, “Then what miraculous sign will you perform, so that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?
