An angry person ¹  stirs up dissension, and a wrathful person ²  is abounding in transgression. ³ 

For if by my lie the truth of God enhances ¹  his glory, why am I still actually being judged as a sinner?

I do not say this because I am seeking a gift. ¹  Rather, I seek the credit that abounds to your account.

May glory be given to God our Father forever and ever. Amen.

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, ¹  and rightly so, ²  because your faith flourishes more and more and the love of each one of you all for one another is ever greater.

Do not seek Bethel! ¹  Do not visit Gilgal! Do not journey down ²  to Beer Sheba! For the people of Gilgal ³  will certainly be carried into exile; ⁴  and Bethel will become a place where disaster abounds.” ⁵ 

Every living creature which swarms where the river ¹  flows will live; there will be many fish, for these waters flow there. It will become fresh ²  and everything will live where the river flows.
