Canaan was the father of Sidon – his firstborn – and Heth,

Canaan was the father of ¹  Sidon his firstborn, ²  Heth, ³ 

After going out from there, Jesus went to the region of Tyre ¹  and Sidon. ² 

But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you!

and on to Ebron, ¹  Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon. ² 

“Son of man, turn toward ¹  Sidon ²  and prophesy against it.

But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you!

Lament, ¹  you residents of the coast, you merchants of Sidon ²  who travel over the sea, whose agents sail over

all the kings of Tyre, ¹  all the kings of Sidon; ²  all the kings of the coastlands along the sea; ³ 

as are those of Hamath also, which adjoins Damascus, and Tyre ¹  and Sidon, ²  though they consider themselves to be very wise.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  went out again from the region of Tyre ³  and came through Sidon ⁴  to the Sea of Galilee in the region of the Decapolis. ⁵ 

Yet ¹  Elijah was sent to none of them, but only to a woman who was a widow at Zarephath in Sidon. ² 

The next day we put in ¹  at Sidon, ²  and Julius, treating Paul kindly, ³  allowed him to go to his friends so they could provide him with what he needed. ⁴ 

Zebulun will live ¹  by the haven of the sea and become a haven for ships; his border will extend to Sidon. ² 

Then they went on to Gilead and to the region of Tahtim Hodshi, coming to Dan Jaan and on around to Sidon. ¹ 

The leaders ¹  of Sidon ²  and Arvad ³  were your rowers; your skilled ⁴  men, O Tyre, were your captains.

“Get up, go to Zarephath in Sidonian territory, and live there. I have already told ¹  a widow who lives there to provide for you.”

“Woe to you, Chorazin! ¹  Woe to you, Bethsaida! If ²  the miracles ³  done in you had been done in Tyre ⁴  and Sidon, ⁵  they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

Jerusalem, ¹  Idumea, beyond the Jordan River, ²  and around Tyre ³  and Sidon ⁴  a great multitude came to him when they heard about the things he had done.
