and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs,

and one-tenth for each of the fourteen lambs,

The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs. ¹ 

Why do you skip like rams, O mountains, like lambs, O hills?

“I will lead them off to be slaughtered like lambs, rams, and male goats.” ¹ 

Go! I ¹  am sending you out like lambs ²  surrounded by wolves. ³ 

Then Abraham set seven ewe lambs apart from the flock by themselves.

For each of the seven lambs you are to offer one-tenth of an ephah,

with one-tenth for each of the seven lambs,

and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs,

“‘On the third day you must offer ¹  eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

“‘On the fourth day you must offer ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

“‘On the fifth day you must offer nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

“‘On the sixth day you must offer eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

“‘On the seventh day you must offer seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

Lambs ¹  will graze as if in their pastures, amid the ruins the rich sojourners will graze. ² 

the lambs will be for your clothing, and the goats will be for the price of a field. ¹ 

Abimelech asked Abraham, “What is the meaning of these ¹  seven ewe lambs that you have set apart?”

“Now this is what you are to prepare ¹  on the altar every day continually: two lambs a year old.

You must also offer ¹  one male goat ²  for a sin offering and two yearling lambs for a peace offering sacrifice,
