Every day I am in danger of death! This is as sure as ¹  my boasting in you, ²  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of your hope until the end,

Therefore, brothers and sisters, ¹  make every effort to be sure of your calling and election. ²  For by doing this ³  you will never ⁴  stumble into sin. ⁵ 

And if we know ¹  that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him.

See now, ¹  I have prepared ²  my ³  case; ⁴  I know that I am right. ⁵ 

He does ¹  amazing things that will be remembered; ²  the Lord is merciful and compassionate.

All your commands are reliable. I am pursued without reason. ¹  Help me!

Your justice endures, ¹  and your law is reliable. ² 

The one who tells the truth ¹  will endure forever, but the one who lies ²  will last only for a moment. ³ 

Plans fail ¹  when there is no counsel, but with abundant advisers they are established. ² 

Commit ¹  your works ²  to the Lord, and your plans will be established. ³ 

Those who think they are wise are as good as dead, ¹  those who think they possess understanding. ² 

Those who enact unjust policies are as good as dead, ¹  those who are always instituting unfair regulations, ²
