A crowd was sitting around him and they said to him, “Look, your mother and your brothers ¹  are outside looking for you.”

They said to him, “Permit one of us to sit at your right hand and the other at your left in your glory.”

but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give. It is for those for whom it has been prepared.” ¹ 

So ¹  while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, ²  and Andrew asked him privately,

While they were at the table ¹  eating, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, ²  one of you eating with me will betray me.” ³ 

And Peter had followed him from a distance, up to the high priest’s courtyard. He ¹  was sitting with the guards ²  and warming himself by the fire.

Then ¹  as they went into the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe ²  sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

After ¹  this, Jesus ²  went out and saw a tax collector ³  named Levi ⁴  sitting at the tax booth. ⁵  “Follow me,” ⁶  he said to him.

Then ¹  Levi gave a great banquet ²  in his house for Jesus, ³  and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others sitting ⁴  at the table with them.

(Now about five thousand men ¹  were there.) ²  Then ³  he said to his disciples, “Have ⁴  them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”

that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit ¹  on thrones judging ²  the twelve tribes of Israel.

Then a slave girl, ¹  seeing him as he sat in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man was with him too!”

When ¹  he had taken his place at the table ²  with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, ³  and gave it to them.

Early in the morning he came to the temple courts again. All the people came to him, and he sat down and began to teach ¹  them.

So they prepared a dinner for Jesus ¹  there. Martha ²  was serving, and Lazarus was among those present at the table ³  with him.

For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says, ‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit ¹  at my right hand

On a day determined in advance, Herod ¹  put on his royal robes, ²  sat down on the judgment seat, ³  and made a speech ⁴  to them.

Moving on from ¹  Perga, ²  they arrived at Pisidian Antioch, ³  and on the Sabbath day they went into ⁴  the synagogue ⁵  and sat down.

They are darkened in their understanding, ¹  being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts.

who went into heaven and is at the right hand of God ¹  with angels and authorities and powers subject to him. ²
