You despise ¹  all who stray from your statutes, for they are deceptive and unreliable. ² 

but these men lie in wait for their own blood, ¹  they ambush their own lives! ² 

Suddenly ¹  a woman came out to meet him! She was dressed like a prostitute ²  and with secret intent. ³

I, the Lord, affirm ¹  that I am opposed to those prophets who dream up lies and report them. They are misleading my people with their reckless lies. ²  I did not send them. I did not commission them. They are not helping these people at all. ³  I, the Lord, affirm it!” ⁴ 

So the Lord saved ¹  Israel on that day from the power ²  of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead ³  on the shore of the sea.

The judges will thoroughly investigate the matter, and if the witness should prove to be false and to have given false testimony against the accused, ¹
