I also established my covenant with them ¹  to give them the land of Canaan, where they were living as resident foreigners. ² 

I ¹  have also heard ²  the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, ³  and I have remembered my covenant. ⁴ 

The Lord said to Moses, “Write down ¹  these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”

Each Sabbath day ¹  Aaron ²  must arrange it before the Lord continually; this portion ³  is from the Israelites as a perpetual covenant.

If you make a sale ¹  to your fellow citizen ²  or buy ³  from your fellow citizen, no one is to wrong his brother. ⁴ 

I will turn to you, make you fruitful, multiply you, and maintain ¹  my covenant with you.

if you reject my statutes and abhor my regulations so that you do not keep ¹  all my commandments and you break my covenant –

I will remember my covenant with Jacob and also my covenant with Isaac and also my covenant with Abraham, ¹  and I will remember the land.

But they dared ¹  to go up to the crest of the hill, although ²  neither the ark of the covenant of the Lord nor Moses departed from the camp.

“If a young ¹  woman who is still living ²  in her father’s house makes a vow to the Lord or places herself under an obligation,

And he revealed to you the covenant ¹  he has commanded you to keep, the ten commandments, ²  writing them on two stone tablets.

He ¹  did not make this covenant with our ancestors ²  but with us, we who are here today, all of us living now.

Now at the end of the forty days and nights the Lord presented me with the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant.

So I turned and went down the mountain while it ¹  was blazing with fire; the two tablets of the covenant were in my hands.

And today the Lord has declared you to be his special people (as he already promised you) so you may keep all his commandments.

so that you may enter by oath into the covenant the Lord your God is making with you today. ¹ 

So when the people left their tents to cross the Jordan, the priests carrying the ark of the covenant went ¹  ahead of them.

The men of Israel said to the Hivites, “Perhaps you live near us. ¹  So how can we make a treaty with you?”

Three days after they made the treaty with them, the Israelites found out they were from the local area and lived nearby. ¹ 

He told them what Micah had done for him, saying, ¹  “He hired me and I became his priest.”
