Then the Lord God made ¹  a woman from the part he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

Then Jacob offered a sacrifice ¹  on the mountain and invited his relatives to eat the meal. ²  They ate the meal and spent the night on the mountain.

They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings, clasps, frames, bars, posts, and bases;

“‘If his offering to the Lord is a burnt offering from the birds, ¹  he must present his offering from the turtledoves or from the young pigeons. ² 

You can present them to the Lord as an offering of first fruit, ¹  but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.

Then he must present from it his offering as a gift to the Lord: the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat on the entrails, ¹ 

Then he brought near the sin offering bull ¹  and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the sin offering bull,

So they took what Moses had commanded to the front of ¹  the Meeting Tent and the whole congregation presented them and stood before the Lord.

Finally Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before the Lord just as Moses had commanded.

Aaron must then present the goat which has been designated by lot for the Lord, ¹  and he is to make it a sin offering,

On that very day ¹  it must be eaten; you must not leave any part of it ²  over until morning. I am the Lord.

“‘If what is vowed is a kind of animal from which an offering may be presented ¹  to the Lord, anything which he gives to the Lord from this kind of animal ²  will be holy.

then a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of finely ground flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil must be presented ¹  with the young bull,

So Moses brought out all the staffs from before the Lord to all the Israelites. They looked at them, ¹  and each man took his staff.

And their meat will be yours, just as the breast and the right hip of the raised offering is yours.

So Moses did as the Lord commanded him; he took Joshua and set ¹  him before Eleazar the priest and before the whole community.

And one male goat ¹  must be offered to the Lord as a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

Now at the end of the forty days and nights the Lord presented me with the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant.

Whenever the day came for Elkanah to sacrifice, he used to give meat portions to his wife Peninnah and to all her sons and daughters.

They sailed ¹  to Ophir, took from there four hundred twenty talents ²  of gold, and then brought them to King Solomon.
