This is just what I told ¹  Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Then they must proclaim, “Our hands have not spilled this blood, nor have we ¹  witnessed the crime. ²

Now, O God of Israel, may the promise you made ¹  to your servant, my father David, be realized. ²

So also you, when you see all these things, know ¹  that he is near, right at the door.
