Esteem her highly ¹  and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her.

that I may cause ¹  those who love me to inherit wealth, and that I may fill ²  their treasuries. ³ 

A stone is heavy and sand is weighty, but vexation ¹  by a fool is more burdensome ²  than the two of them.

“They have blown the trumpet and everyone is ready, but no one goes to battle, because my anger is against their whole crowd. ¹ 

Armies ¹  will be suddenly ²  swept away in defeat ³  before him; both they and a covenant leader ⁴  will be destroyed. ⁵ 

Lift your hand triumphantly against your adversaries; ¹  may all your enemies be destroyed! ² 

It will be a day for rebuilding your walls; in that day your boundary will be extended. ¹ 

For nation will rise up in arms ¹  against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines ²  and earthquakes ³  in various places.

Now when Jesus returned, ¹  the crowd welcomed him, because they were all waiting for him.

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law ¹  and boast of your relationship to God ² 

by truthful ¹  teaching, ²  by the power of God, with weapons of righteousness both for the right hand and for the left, ³ 

for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, ¹  but are made powerful by God ²  for tearing down strongholds. ³  We tear down arguments ⁴ 

The Ephraimites assembled ¹  and crossed over to Zaphon. They said to Jephthah, “Why did you go and fight ²  with the Ammonites without asking ³  us to go with you? We will burn your house down right over you!” ⁴ 

I gave you your master’s house, and put your master’s wives into your arms. ¹  I also gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all that somehow seems insignificant, I would have given you so much more as well!

His servants advised ¹  him, “A young virgin must be found for our master, the king, ²  to take care of the king’s needs ³  and serve as his nurse. She can also sleep with you ⁴  and keep our master, the king, warm.” ⁵ 

So now, you are banished ¹  from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

the other ¹  two ends of the two chains you will attach to the two settings and then attach them ²  to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front of it.

You are to make two more ¹  gold rings and attach them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod, close to the juncture above the waistband of the ephod.

and if all your armed men cross the Jordan before the Lord until he drives out his enemies from his presence

but your servants will cross over, every man armed for war, to do battle in the Lord’s presence, just as my lord says.”
