Its length was 175 feet ¹  on the north side, ²  and its width 87½ feet. ³ 

He measured the east side with the measuring stick ¹  as 875 feet ²  by the measuring stick.

He will extend his power ¹  against other lands; the land of Egypt will not escape.

But Jacob did not send Joseph’s brother Benjamin with his brothers, ¹  for he said, ²  “What if some accident ³  happens ⁴  to him?”

So Israel’s sons came to buy grain among the other travelers, ¹  for the famine was severe in the land of Canaan.

You will be tested in this way: As surely as Pharaoh lives, ¹  you will not depart from this place unless your youngest brother comes here.

On the third day Joseph said to them, “Do as I say ¹  and you will live, ²  for I fear God. ³ 

But you must bring ¹  your youngest brother to me. Then ²  your words will be verified ³  and you will not die.” They did as he said. ⁴ 

They returned to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan and told him all the things that had happened to them, saying,

“The man, the lord of the land, spoke harshly to us and treated us ¹  as if we were ²  spying on the land.

We are from a family of twelve brothers; we are the sons of one father. ¹  One is no longer alive, ²  and the youngest is with our father at this time ³  in the land of Canaan.’

They are then to take other stones and replace those stones, ¹  and he is to take other plaster and replaster the house.
