The law you have revealed is more important to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. ¹ 

Your words are sweeter in my mouth than honey! ¹ 

The speech ¹  of the righteous bears the fruit of wisdom, ²  but the one who speaks perversion ³  will be destroyed. ⁴ 

The words of a person’s mouth are like ¹  deep waters, ²  and ³  the fountain of wisdom ⁴  is like ⁵  a flowing brook. ⁶ 

Let another ¹  praise you, and not your own mouth; ²  someone else, ³  and not your own lips.

The Beloved to Her Lover: ¹  Oh, how I wish you ²  would kiss me passionately! ³  For your lovemaking ⁴  is more delightful ⁵  than wine. ⁶ 

Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that everything comes – both calamity and blessing? ¹ 

Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth enters the stomach and then passes out into the sewer? ¹ 

But I said, ‘Certainly not, Lord, for nothing defiled or ritually unclean ¹  has ever entered my mouth!’

Therefore we are sending ¹  Judas and Silas ²  who will tell you these things themselves in person. ³ 

So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going ¹  to vomit ²  you out of my mouth!

The eastern border was the Salt Sea to the mouth ¹  of the Jordan River. ²  The northern border started north of the Salt Sea at the mouth of the Jordan, ³ 

He was treated harshly and afflicted, ¹  but he did not even open his mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughtering block, like a sheep silent before her shearers, he did not even open his mouth. ²

The mouth ¹  of an adulteress is like ²  a deep pit; ³  the one against whom the Lord is angry ⁴  will fall into it. ⁵ 

So he saves ¹  from the sword that comes from their mouth, ²  even ³  the poor from the hand of the powerful.

“How long will you speak these things, ¹  seeing ²  that the words of your mouth are like a great ³  wind? ⁴ 

But ¹  I would strengthen ²  you with my words; ³  comfort from my lips would bring ⁴  you relief.

His mouth is full of curses and deceptive, harmful words; ¹  his tongue injures and destroys. ² 

The words he speaks are sinful and deceitful; he does not care about doing what is wise and right. ¹
