“Should not this ¹  abundance of words be answered, ²  or should this ³  talkative man ⁴  be vindicated? ⁵ 

Your own mouth condemns ¹  you, not I; your own lips testify against ²  you.

If you have any words, ¹  reply to me; speak, for I want to justify you. ² 

For he does not still consider a person, ¹  that he should come before God in judgment.

For this reason ¹  the wicked cannot withstand ²  judgment, ³  nor can sinners join the assembly of the godly. ⁴ 

It goes well for the one ¹  who generously lends money, and conducts his business honestly. ² 

Do not sit in judgment on ¹  your servant, for no one alive is innocent before you. ² 

Even a young man ¹  is known ²  by his actions, whether his activity is pure and whether it is right. ³ 

The Lord says, ¹  “The leaders of my people are sure to be judged. ²  They were supposed to watch over my people like shepherds watch over their sheep. But they are causing my people to be destroyed and scattered. ³ 

They ¹  devour widows’ property, ²  and as a show make long prayers. These men will receive a more severe punishment.”

The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

“Our law doesn’t condemn ¹  a man unless it first hears from him and learns ²  what he is doing, does it?” ³ 

Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world ¹  will be driven out. ² 

And when he ¹  comes, he will prove the world wrong ²  concerning sin and ³  righteousness and ⁴  judgment –

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ¹ 

One ¹  should think about us this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

but only a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a fury ¹  of fire that will consume God’s enemies. ² 

But if you show prejudice, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as violators. ¹ 

For the one who obeys the whole law but fails ¹  in one point has become guilty of all of it. ² 

For judgment is merciless for the one who has shown no mercy. But mercy triumphs over ¹  judgment.
