They placed Saul’s armor in the temple of the Ashtoreths ¹  and hung his corpse on the city wall of Beth Shan.

At once the bleeding stopped, ¹  and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.

(for if you live according to the flesh, you will ¹  die), ²  but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live.

so that there may be no division in the body, but the members may have mutual concern for one another.

And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare seed ¹  – perhaps of wheat or something else.

I am so starved my knees shake; ¹  I have turned into skin and bones. ² 

This will bring ¹  healing to your body, ²  and refreshment ³  to your inner self. ⁴ 

Pleasant words are like ¹  a honeycomb, ²  sweet to the soul and healing ³  to the bones.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry ¹  about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing?

Now this is his uncleanness in regard to his discharge ¹  – whether his body secretes his discharge or blocks his discharge, he is unclean. All the days that his body has a discharge or his body blocks his discharge, ²  this is his uncleanness. ³ 

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body – for the sake of his body, the church – what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ.

He has not held fast ¹  to the head from whom the whole body, supported ²  and knit together through its ligaments and sinews, grows with a growth that is from God. ³ 

A young man was following him, wearing only a linen cloth. They tried to arrest him,

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires,

Have mercy on me, for I am in distress! My eyes grow dim ¹  from suffering. ²  I have lost my strength. ³ 

The Lord made a reliable promise to David; ¹  he will not go back on his word. ²  He said, ³  “I will place one of your descendants ⁴  on your throne.

Under the platform their wings were stretched out, each toward the other. Each of the beings also had two wings covering ¹  its body.

Then ¹  the disciples ²  said ³  to him, “Where, ⁴  Lord?” He replied to them, “Where the dead body ⁵  is, there the vultures ⁶  will gather.” ⁷ 

Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth ¹  we are absent from the Lord –

In him you also were circumcised – not, however, ¹  with a circumcision performed by human hands, but by the removal ²  of the fleshly body, ³  that is, ⁴  through the circumcision done by Christ.
