If a false ¹  witness testifies against another person and accuses him of a crime, ² 

Far be it from us to rebel against the Lord by turning back today from following after the Lord by building an altar for burnt offerings, sacrifices, and tokens of peace ¹  aside from the altar of the Lord our God located in front of his dwelling place!” ² 

Remember ¹  continually his covenantal decree, the promise he made ²  to a thousand generations –

The Lord is your protector; the Lord is the shade at your right hand.

One generation will praise your deeds to another, and tell about your mighty acts! ¹ 

The wicked are overthrown ¹  and perish, ²  but the righteous household ³  will stand.

The one who tells the truth ¹  will endure forever, but the one who lies ²  will last only for a moment. ³ 

The Beloved to the Maidens: My beloved ¹  is dazzling ²  and ruddy; ³  he stands out ⁴  in comparison to ⁵  all other men. ⁶ 

“This is what the sovereign Lord says: A disaster ¹  – a one-of-a-kind ²  disaster – is coming!

So Joseph made it a statute, ¹  which is in effect ²  to this day throughout the land of Egypt: One-fifth belongs to Pharaoh. Only the land of the priests did not become Pharaoh’s.

Then the one presenting the offering ¹  must slaughter the bull ²  before the Lord, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must present the blood and splash ³  the blood against the sides of the altar which is at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.

He must remain ¹  in that city until his case is decided by the assembly ²  and the high priest dies. ³  Then the one who committed manslaughter may return home to the city from which he escaped.” ⁴ 

The four wheels were under the frames and the crossbars of the axles were connected to the stand. Each wheel was two and one-quarter feet ¹  high.

Look, you make my days short-lived, ¹  and my life span is nothing from your perspective. ²  Surely all people, even those who seem secure, are nothing but vapor. ³ 

The Beloved about Her Lover: Like ¹  an apple tree ²  among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men. I delight ³  to sit ⁴  in his shade, ⁵  and his fruit ⁶  is sweet ⁷  to my taste. ⁸ 

Then ¹  the voice I had heard from heaven began to speak ²  to me ³  again, ⁴  “Go and take the open ⁵  scroll in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

And he set the bread in order on it ¹  before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Then he uttered this oracle: “O, who will survive when God does this! ¹
