The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

If you do not have enough to pay, your bed ¹  will be taken ²  right out from under you! ³ 

For the Lord has planned a day of revenge, ¹  a time when he will repay Edom for her hostility toward Zion. ² 

For this is what the Lord says: “You were sold for nothing, and you will not be redeemed for money.”

For I looked forward to the day of vengeance, and then payback time arrived. ¹ 

I tell you the truth, ¹  you will never get out of there until you have paid the last penny! ²

If he knocks out the tooth of his male servant or his female servant, he will let the servant ¹  go free as compensation for the tooth.

the owner of the pit must repay ¹  the loss. He must give money ²  to its owner, and the dead animal ³  will become his.

If her father refuses to give her to him, he must pay money for the bride price of virgins.
