But later ¹  they had changed their minds. They had taken back their male and female slaves that they had freed and forced them to be slaves again. ² 

Therefore, although God has overlooked ¹  such times of ignorance, ²  he now commands all people ³  everywhere to repent, ⁴ 

to the latter an odor ¹  from death to death, but to the former a fragrance from life to life. And who is adequate for these things? ²
