You do damage with words, ¹  and use your tongue to deceive. ² 

The wild goats live in the high mountains; ¹  the rock badgers find safety in the cliffs.

How blessed are those who promote justice, and do what is right all the time!

Plans ¹  are established by counsel, so ²  make war ³  with guidance.

Loyal love and truth ¹  preserve a king, and his throne is upheld by loyal love. ² 

Who forms a god and casts an idol that will prove worthless? ¹ 

Then ¹  the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

When ¹  the plants sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared.

His ¹  appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.

He taught them many things in parables, ¹  and in his teaching said to them:

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself ¹  as an angel of light.

for the fruit of the light ¹  consists in ²  all goodness, righteousness, and truth –

You must surround the king. Each of you must hold his weapon in his hand. Whoever approaches your ranks must be killed. You must accompany the king wherever he goes.” ¹ 

He also made the big bronze basin called “The Sea.” ¹  It measured 15 feet ²  from rim to rim, was circular in shape, and stood seven and one-half feet ³  high. Its circumference was 45 feet. ⁴ 

The Levites must surround the king. Each of you must hold his weapon in his hand. Whoever tries to enter the temple ¹  must be killed. You must accompany the king wherever he goes.” ² 

I, the Lord, once called ¹  you a thriving olive tree, one that produced beautiful fruit. But I will set you ²  on fire, fire that will blaze with a mighty roar. ³  Then all your branches will be good for nothing. ⁴ 

Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with rage, and his disposition changed ¹  toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He gave orders ²  to heat the furnace seven times hotter than it was normally heated.

For just as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body – though many – are one body, so too is Christ.

The ¹  first living creature was like a lion, the ²  second creature like an ox, the third creature had a face like a man’s, and the fourth creature looked like an eagle flying.

Whenever ¹  I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
