Accept instruction ¹  from his mouth and store up his words ²  in your heart.

When he made ¹  the force of the wind and measured ²  the waters with a gauge.

If he is too poor to pay the conversion value, he must stand the person before the priest and the priest will establish his conversion value; ¹  according to what the man who made the vow can afford, ²  the priest will establish his conversion value.

But you must seek only the place he ¹  chooses from all your tribes to establish his name as his place of residence, ²  and you must go there.

So now, O Lord God, make this promise you have made about your servant and his family a permanent reality. ¹  Do as you promised, ² 

“As for this temple you are building, if you follow ¹  my rules, observe ²  my regulations, and obey all my commandments, ³  I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father David. ⁴ 

He set up the pillars on the porch in front of the main hall. He erected one pillar on the right ¹  side and called it Jakin; ²  he erected the other pillar on the left ³  side and called it Boaz. ⁴ 

He set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right side and the other on the left. ¹  He named the one on the right Jachin, ²  and the one on the left Boaz. ³ 

I commission you ¹  as my spokesman; ²  I cover you with the palm of my hand, ³  to establish ⁴  the sky and to found the earth, to say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’” ⁵ 

But ¹  showing its fault, ²  God ³  says to them, ⁴  “Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will complete a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

Then I will confirm my covenant ¹  between me and you, and I will give you a multitude of descendants.” ² 

Now, O God of Israel, may the promise you made ¹  to your servant, my father David, be realized. ² 

Now, O Lord God of Israel, may the promise you made to your servant David be realized. ¹ 

to have them observe the fourteenth and the fifteenth day of the month of Adar each year

He led them on a level road, ¹  that they might find a city in which to live.

Don’t allow him to rest until he reestablishes Jerusalem, ¹  until he makes Jerusalem the pride ²  of the earth.

And there are times when I promise to build up and establish ¹  a nation or kingdom.

But they will be subject ¹  to the Lord their God and to the Davidic ruler whom I will raise up as king over them. ² 

I will establish my sovereignty over Elam. ¹  I will destroy their king and their leaders,” ²  says the Lord. ³ 

You refuse to believe a day of disaster will come, ¹  but you establish a reign of violence. ²
