So he ¹  told ²  them, “My Father is working until now, and I too am working.” ³ 

Now Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and miraculous signs ¹  among the people.

For the law brings wrath, because where there is no law there is no transgression ¹  either.

If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know.

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Pursue love and be eager for the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.

The one who speaks in a tongue builds himself up, ¹  but the one who prophesies builds up the church.

For you can all prophesy one after another, so all can learn and be encouraged.

Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, ¹ 

Formerly when you did not know God, you were enslaved to beings that by nature are not gods at all. ¹ 

that ¹  by revelation the divine secret ²  was made known to me, as I wrote before briefly. ³ 

By professing it, some have strayed from the faith. ¹  Grace be with you all. ² 

And so, ¹  since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.” ² 

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to serve those ¹  who will inherit salvation?

For everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced in the message of righteousness, because he is an infant.

So with these things prepared like this, the priests enter continually into the outer tent ¹  as they perform their duties.

And both the tabernacle and all the utensils of worship he likewise sprinkled with blood.

but only a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a fury ¹  of fire that will consume God’s enemies. ² 

And these all were commended ¹  for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised. ² 

but the word of the Lord ¹  endures forever. ²  And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.
