He mounted ¹  a winged angel ²  and flew; he glided ³  on the wings of the wind. ⁴ 

For every wild animal in the forest belongs to me, as well as the cattle that graze on a thousand hills. ¹ 

For the creation was subjected to futility – not willingly but because of God ¹  who subjected it – in hope

For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now.

For ¹  neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for ²  anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation! ³ 

God blessed ¹  them and said ²  to them, “Be fruitful and multiply! Fill the earth and subdue it! ³  Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that moves on the ground.” ⁴ 

Every living creature of the earth and every bird of the sky will be terrified of you. ¹  Everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea are under your authority. ² 

When a person touches anything unclean (whether human uncleanness, or an unclean animal, or an unclean detestable creature) ¹  and eats some of the meat of the peace offering sacrifice which belongs to the Lord, that person will be cut off from his people.’” ² 

and also seven ¹  of every kind of bird in the sky, male and female, ²  to preserve their offspring ³  on the face of the earth.

Those that entered were male and female, ¹  just as God commanded him. Then the Lord shut him in.

“Tell the Israelites: ‘This is the kind of creature you may eat from among all the animals ¹  that are on the land.

Do not make yourselves detestable by any of the swarming things. ¹  You must not defile yourselves by them and become unclean by them,

My mouth will praise the Lord. ¹  Let all who live ²  praise his holy name forever!

Each moved straight ahead ¹  – wherever the spirit ²  would go, they would go, without turning as they went.

For we know that the law is spiritual – but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin. ¹ 

that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.

nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And the Lord smelled the soothing aroma ¹  and said ²  to himself, ³  “I will never again curse ⁴  the ground because of humankind, even though ⁵  the inclination of their minds ⁶  is evil from childhood on. ⁷  I will never again destroy everything that lives, as I have just done.

The Lord God formed ¹  the man from the soil of the ground ²  and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, ³  and the man became a living being. ⁴ 

Then the man said, “This one at last ¹  is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called ²  ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of ³  man.” ⁴
