rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth, ¹  and delighting ²  in its people. ³ 

I am the Lord, your Holy One, ¹  the one who created Israel, your king.”

So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. ¹ 

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.

For man did not come from woman, but woman from man.

¹ He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn ²  over all creation, ³ 

For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people ¹  are without excuse.

But now Christ has come ¹  as the high priest of the good things to come. He passed through the greater and more perfect tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation,

“Were you the first man ever born? Were you brought forth before the hills?

He marks out the horizon ¹  on the surface of the waters as a boundary between light and darkness.

“Where were you when I laid the foundation ¹  of the earth? Tell me, ²  if you possess understanding!

You know, for you were born before them; ¹  and the number of your days is great!

You set up all the boundaries ¹  of the earth; you created the cycle of summer and winter. ² 

י (Yod) Your hands made me and formed me. ¹  Give me understanding so that I might learn ²  your commands.

You demonstrate your faithfulness to all generations. ¹  You established the earth and it stood firm.

Certainly ¹  you made my mind and heart; ²  you wove me together ³  in my mother’s womb.

The Lord is good to all, and has compassion on all he has made. ¹ 

When there were no deep oceans ¹  I was born, ²  when there were no springs overflowing ³  with water;

Making a fortune ¹  by a lying tongue is like ²  a vapor driven back and forth; ³  they seek death. ⁴
