As he approached ¹  Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, “Look, ²  I know that you are a beautiful woman. ³ 

Zebulun will live ¹  by the haven of the sea and become a haven for ships; his border will extend to Sidon. ² 

to the south; ¹  all the Canaanite territory, ²  from Arah ³  in the region of Sidon ⁴  to Aphek, as far as Amorite territory;

and all the cities of King Sihon of the Amorites who ruled in Heshbon, and ended at the Ammonite border.

The western border was the Mediterranean Sea. ¹  These were the borders of the tribe of Judah and its clans. ² 

These cities were located at the southern extremity of Judah’s tribal land near the border of Edom: ¹  Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,

From there it crossed eastward to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin and extended to Rimmon, turning toward Neah.

In those days the Lord began to reduce the size of Israel’s territory. ¹  Hazael attacked their eastern border. ² 

I will make your pinnacles out of gems, ¹  your gates out of beryl, ²  and your outer wall ³  out of beautiful ⁴  stones.

The tree grew large and strong. Its top reached far into the sky; it could be seen ¹  from the borders of all the land. ² 

You sold Judeans and Jerusalemites to the Greeks, removing them far from their own country. ¹ 

When they came to ¹  Mysia, ²  they attempted to go into Bithynia, ³  but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow ⁴  them to do this, ⁵ 

Please let us pass through ¹  your country. We will not pass through the fields or through the vineyards, nor will we drink water from any well. We will go by the King’s Highway; ²  we will not turn to the right or the left until we have passed through your region.’” ³ 

Through your messengers you taunted the sovereign master, ¹  ‘With my many chariots ²  I climbed up the high mountains, the slopes of Lebanon. I cut down its tall cedars, and its best evergreens. I invaded its most remote regions, ³  its thickest woods.

He will be a wild donkey ¹  of a man. He will be hostile to everyone, ²  and everyone will be hostile to him. ³  He will live away from ⁴  his brothers.”

Now the Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a land that was inhabited; they ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan.

Every place you set your foot ¹  will be yours; your border will extend from the desert to Lebanon and from the River (that is, the Euphrates) as far as the Mediterranean Sea. ² 

When the Lord your God extends your borders as he said he would do and you say, “I want to eat meat just as I please,” ¹  you may do so as you wish. ² 

When the Most High ¹  gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided up humankind, ²  he set the boundaries of the peoples, according to the number of the heavenly assembly. ³ 

and the northern kings who ruled in ¹  the hill country, the Arabah south of Kinnereth, ²  the lowlands, and the heights of Dor to the west.
