Every grain offering which is baked in the oven or ¹  made in the pan ²  or on the griddle belongs to the priest who presented it.

If it is not redeemed before the full calendar year is ended, ¹  the house in the walled city ²  will belong without reclaim ³  to the one who bought it throughout his generations; it will not revert in the jubilee.

Of Levi he said: Your Thummim and Urim ¹  belong to your godly one, ²  whose authority you challenged at Massah, ³  and with whom you argued at the waters of Meribah. ⁴ 

Joshua told the two men who had spied on the land, “Enter the prostitute’s house ¹  and bring out the woman and all who belong to her as you promised her.” ² 

So, my brothers and sisters, ¹  you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God. ² 

And if the ear says, “Since I am not an eye, I am not part of the body,” it does not lose its membership in the body because of that.

Boaz asked ¹  his servant ²  in charge of the harvesters, “To whom does this young woman belong?” ³ 

The depths of the earth are in his hand, ¹  and the mountain peaks belong to him.

These sayings also are from the wise: To show partiality ¹  in judgment is terrible: ² 

Everything ¹  I have belongs to you, ²  and everything you have belongs to me, ³  and I have been glorified by them. ⁴ 

in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world’s perspective and the world listens to them.

“You must measure ¹  from outside the wall of the town on the east 1,000 yards, ²  and on the south side 1,000 yards, and on the west side 1,000 yards, and on the north side 1,000 yards, with the town in the middle. ³  This territory must belong to them as grazing land for the towns.

And now, though we share the same flesh and blood as our fellow countrymen, ¹  and our children are just like their children, ²  still we have found it necessary to subject our sons and daughters to slavery. ³  Some of our daughters have been subjected to slavery, while we are powerless to help, ⁴  since our fields and vineyards now belong to other people.” ⁵ 

Whoever speaks, let it be with ¹  God’s words. ²  Whoever serves, do so with the strength ³  that God supplies, so that in everything God will be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong ⁴  the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf for his sin which he has committed by doing one of these things, ²  and he will be forgiven. ³  The remainder of the offering ⁴  will belong to the priest like the grain offering.’” ⁵ 

If, however, the one who consecrated the field redeems it, ¹  he must add to it one fifth of the conversion price ²  and it will belong to him. ³ 

Then Abner sent messengers ¹  to David saying, “To whom does the land belong? Make an agreement ²  with me, and I will do whatever I can ³  to cause all Israel to turn to you.”

One will say, ‘I belong to the Lord,’ and another will use ¹  the name ‘Jacob.’ One will write on his hand, ‘The Lord’s,’ and use the name ‘Israel.’” ² 

If you belonged to the world, ¹  the world would love you as its own. ²  However, because you do not belong to the world, ³  but I chose you out of the world, for this reason ⁴  the world hates you. ⁵
