So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness. ¹ 

Then ¹  the kings of the earth, the ²  very important people, the generals, ³  the rich, the powerful, and everyone, slave ⁴  and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

After all, Abraham ¹  will surely become ²  a great and powerful nation, and all the nations on the earth will pronounce blessings on one another ³  using his name.

It will be for a sign on your hand and for frontlets ¹  on your forehead, for with a mighty hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.” ² 

But ¹  the inhabitants ²  are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. Moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there.

But he said, “You may not pass through.” Then Edom came out against them ¹  with a large and powerful force. ² 

“The Lord drove out from before you great and mighty nations; no one has been able to resist you ¹  to this very day.

With ¹  great power the apostles were giving testimony ²  to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was on them all.

because some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is weak ¹  and his speech is of no account.” ² 

And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming in a loud voice: “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?”

He had 700 royal wives ¹  and 300 concubines; ²  his wives had a powerful influence over him. ³ 

He pours contempt on noblemen and disarms ¹  the powerful. ² 

“Why do the wicked go on living, ¹  grow old, ²  even increase in power?

“Dominion ¹  and awesome might ²  belong to ³  God; he establishes peace in his heights. ⁴ 

Do you have an arm as powerful as God’s, ¹  and can you thunder with a voice like his?

Many bulls ¹  surround me; powerful bulls of Bashan ²  hem me in.

With an east wind you shatter ¹  the large ships. ² 

Majestic splendor emanates from him; ¹  his sanctuary is firmly established and beautiful. ²
