He made its seven lamps, its trimmers, and its trays of pure gold.

Each one also brought to the assigned location his quota of barley and straw for the various horses. ¹ 

It is a snare ¹  for a person ²  to rashly cry, ³  “Holy!” and only afterward to consider ⁴  what he has vowed. ⁵ 

Leave your orphans behind and I will keep them alive. Your widows too can depend on me.” ¹ 

But he ¹  replied, “They don’t need to go. You ²  give them something to eat.”

Then ¹  they asked him, ²  “Why do the experts in the law ³  say that Elijah must come first?”

Then ¹  Jesus ²  told them a parable to show them they should always ³  pray and not lose heart. ⁴ 

“I am the good ¹  shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life ²  for the sheep.

Then he brought them outside ¹  and asked, “Sirs, what must ²  I do to be saved?”

You yourselves know that these hands of mine ¹  provided for my needs and the needs of those who were with me.

Of course, ¹  I myself was convinced ²  that it was necessary to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus the Nazarene.

But if I do what I don’t want, I agree that the law is good. ¹ 

But God will judge those outside. Remove the evil person from among you. ¹ 

For there must in fact be divisions among you, so that those of you who are approved may be evident. ¹ 

For you know yourselves how you must imitate us, because we did not behave without discipline ¹  among you,

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

So communicate these things with the sort of exhortation or rebuke ¹  that carries full authority. ²  Don’t let anyone look down ³  on you.

So, although I have quite a lot of confidence in Christ and could command you to do what is proper,

For when the priesthood changes, a change in the law must come ¹  as well.

For where there is a will, the death of the one who made it must be proven. ¹
