If ¹  then ²  your whole body is full of light, with no part in the dark, ³  it will be as full of light as when the light of a lamp shines on you.” ⁴ 

For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” ¹  is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge ²  of God in the face of Christ. ³ 

Those who call evil good and good evil are as good as dead, ¹  who turn darkness into light and light into darkness, who turn bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter. ² 

Then Jesus spoke out again, ¹  “I am the light of the world. ²  The one who follows me will never ³  walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

and let them serve as lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” It was so.

Or why ¹  was ²  I not buried ³  like a stillborn infant, ⁴  like infants ⁵  who have never seen the light? ⁶ 

“Why does God ²  give ³  light to one who is in misery, ⁴  and life to those ⁵  whose soul is bitter,

Whatever you decide ¹  on a matter, it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.

He has searched ¹  the sources ²  of the rivers and what was hidden he has brought into the light.

when ¹  he caused ²  his lamp ³  to shine upon my head, and by his light I walked ⁴  through darkness; ⁵ 

But when I hoped for good, trouble came; when I expected light, then darkness came.

He redeemed my life ¹  from going down to the place of corruption, and my life sees the light!’

“In what direction ¹  does light reside, and darkness, where is its place,

נ (Nun) Your word ¹  is a lamp to walk by, and a light to illumine my path. ² 

If I were to say, “Certainly the darkness will cover me, ¹  and the light will turn to night all around me,” ² 

I realized that wisdom is preferable to folly, ¹  just as light is preferable to darkness:

Don’t you realize the Lord’s day of judgment will bring ¹  darkness, not light – gloomy blackness, not bright light?

You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden.

He came as a witness ¹  to testify ²  about the light, so that everyone ³  might believe through him.

But if anyone walks around at night, ¹  he stumbles, ²  because the light is not in him.”
