All these kings gathered and joined forces ¹  at the Waters of Merom to fight Israel.

We ¹  sailed away from Philippi ²  after the days of Unleavened Bread, ³  and within five days ⁴  we came to the others ⁵  in Troas, ⁶  where we stayed for seven days.

Or do you not know that anyone who is united with ¹  a prostitute is one body with her? ²  For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” ³ 

Then the king of Sodom, the king of Gomorrah, the king of Admah, the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) went out and prepared for battle. In the Valley of Siddim they met ¹

So then, ¹  if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress. But if her ²  husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she is joined to another man, she is not an adulteress.

He built an extension all around the temple; it was seven and a half feet high ¹  and it was attached to the temple by cedar beams.

“Many nations will join themselves to the Lord on the day of salvation, ¹  and they will also be my ²  people. Indeed, I will settle in the midst of you all.” Then you will know that the Lord who rules over all has sent me to you.

Suddenly ¹  a vast, heavenly army ²  appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

More and more believers in the Lord were added to their number, ¹  crowds of both men and women.

Therefore, because of the account found in this letter and what they had faced in this regard and what had happened to them, the Jews established as binding on themselves, their descendants, and all who joined their company that they should observe these two days without fail, just as written and at the appropriate time on an annual basis.

She became pregnant again and had another son. She said, “Now this time my husband will show me affection, ¹  because I have given birth to three sons for him.” That is why he was named Levi. ² 

At the two corners ¹  they must be doubled at the lower end and finished together at the top in one ring. So it will be for both.

You will die ¹  on the mountain that you ascend and join your deceased ancestors, ²  just as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor ³  and joined his deceased ancestors,
