She conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. Then the Lord ¹  said to him, “Name her ‘No Pity’ (Lo-Ruhamah) because I will no longer have pity ²  on the nation ³  of Israel. For ⁴  I will certainly not forgive ⁵  their guilt. ⁶ 

Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven. ¹  But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, ²  either in this age or in the age to come.

Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will ¹  also forgive you your sins.” ² 

Now please forgive my sin! Go back with me so I can worship ¹  the Lord.”

For the sake of your reputation, ¹  O Lord, forgive my sin, because it is great. ² 

You pardoned ¹  the wrongdoing of your people; you forgave ²  all their sin. (Selah)

Certainly ¹  O Lord, you are kind ²  and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient ¹  and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness. ² 

He remembered his covenant with them, and relented ¹  because of his great loyal love.

Men bow down to them in homage, they lie flat on the ground in worship. ¹  Don’t spare them! ² 

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

When Jesus saw their ¹  faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” ² 

“Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming! ¹  Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

I tell you the truth, ¹  people will be forgiven for all sins, even all the blasphemies they utter. ² 

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

But ¹  those who were at the table ²  with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”

Watch ¹  yourselves! If ²  your brother ³  sins, rebuke him. If ⁴  he repents, forgive him.

Above all keep ¹  your love for one another fervent, ²  because love covers a multitude of sins. ³ 

I am writing to you, ¹  little children, that ²  your sins have been forgiven because of his ³  name.

So now, forgive my sin this time only, and pray to the Lord your God that he would only ¹  take this death ²  away from me.”
