we have unanimously ¹  decided ²  to choose men to send to you along with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul,

Each one of you should give ¹  just as he has decided in his heart, ²  not reluctantly ³  or under compulsion, ⁴  because God loves a cheerful giver.

and they ¹  made the Israelites serve rigorously. ² 

For he fulfills his decree against me, ¹  and many such things are his plans. ² 

Therefore I say, ‘Listen ¹  to me. I, even I, will explain what I know.’

If God ¹  were to set his heart on it, ²  and gather in his spirit and his breath,

Certainly ¹  the Lord has chosen Zion; he decided to make it his home. ² 

The Lord decided not to do this. ¹  “It will not happen,” the Lord said.

So ¹  they began to discuss this among themselves, saying, “It is because we brought no bread.”

Finally he sent his son to them, ¹  saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

So they began to discuss with one another about having no bread. ¹ 

While he was saying these things, many people ¹  believed in him.

So the chief priests planned to kill Lazarus too, ¹ 

Now when they heard this, they became furious ¹  and wanted to execute them. ² 

Now after some days had passed, the Jews plotted ¹  together to kill him,

But if you want anything in addition, ¹  it will have to be settled ²  in a legal assembly. ³ 

So ¹  I made up my own mind ²  not to pay you another painful visit. ³ 

So God said ¹  to Noah, “I have decided that all living creatures must die, ²  for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Now I am about to destroy ³  them and the earth.

They replied, “We could plainly see ¹  that the Lord is with you. So we decided there should be ²  a pact between us ³  – between us ⁴  and you. Allow us to make ⁵  a treaty with you

As for me, I stayed at the mountain as I did the first time, forty days and nights. The Lord listened to me that time as well and decided not to destroy you.
