Under the platform their wings were stretched out, each toward the other. Each of the beings also had two wings covering ¹  its body.

He mounted ¹  a winged angel ²  and flew; he glided ³  on the wings of the wind. ⁴ 

Am I the sea, or the creature of the deep, ¹  that you must put ²  me under guard? ³ 

to the one who gives food to all living things, ¹  for his loyal love endures.

For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.

¹ He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn ²  over all creation, ³ 

God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: cattle, creeping things, and wild animals, each according to its kind.” ¹  It was so.

You must bring into the ark two of every kind of living creature from all flesh, ¹  male and female, to keep them alive ²  with you.

for the life of every living thing ¹  is in the blood. ²  So I myself have assigned it to you ³  on the altar to make atonement for your lives, for the blood makes atonement by means of the life. ⁴ 

Wherever the spirit ¹  would go, they would go, ²  and the wheels would rise up beside them because the spirit ³  of the living being was in the wheel.

When the living beings moved, the wheels moved, and when they stopped moving, the wheels stopped. ¹  When they rose up from the ground, the wheels rose up from the ground; the wheels rose up beside them because the spirit of the living being was in the wheel.

When the cherubim ¹  stood still, the wheels ²  stood still, and when they rose up, the wheels ³  rose up with them, for the spirit ⁴  of the living beings ⁵  was in the wheels. ⁶ 

Next, ¹  the second angel ²  poured out his bowl on the sea and it turned into blood, like that of a corpse, and every living creature that was in the sea died.

Everything on dry land that had the breath of life ¹  in its nostrils died.

Any creature in the water that does not have both fins and scales is detestable to you.

Every swarming thing that swarms on the land is detestable; it must not be eaten.

You must not present anything that has a flaw, ¹  because it will not be acceptable for your benefit. ² 

Do you fix your eye ¹  on such a one? ²  And do you bring me ³  before you for judgment?

For ¹  it has been hidden from the eyes of every living creature, and from the birds of the sky it has been concealed.

(41:1) ¹  See, his expectation is wrong, ²  he is laid low even at the sight of it. ³
