He restores my strength. He leads me down the right paths for the sake of his reputation.

The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he delivers ¹  those who are discouraged. ² 

They will lift you up in their hands, so you will not slip and fall on a stone. ¹ 

May the creditor seize ¹  all he owns! May strangers loot his property! ² 

The wicked ¹  will be captured by his ²  own iniquities, ³  and he will be held ⁴  by the cords of his own sin. ⁵ 

That is why I came out to meet you, to look for you, ¹  and I found you!

The wicked person desires a stronghold, ¹  but the righteous root ²  endures. ³ 

One who digs a pit may ¹  fall into it, and one who breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. ² 

He said to them, “Follow me, and I will turn you into fishers of people.” ¹ 

Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will turn you into fishers of people.” ¹ 

They watched ¹  Jesus ²  closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath, ³  so that they could accuse him.

So ¹  he called them and spoke to them in parables: ²  “How can Satan cast out Satan?

and ‘with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” ¹ 

So Jesus said to them, “Children, you don’t have any fish, ¹  do you?” ²  They replied, ³  “No.”

In Damascus, the governor ¹  under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascus ²  in order to arrest ³  me,

Then she will pursue her lovers, but she will not catch ¹  them; she will seek them, but she will not find them. ²  Then she will say, “I will go back ³  to my husband, ⁴  because I was better off then than I am now.” ⁵ 

Would they have enough if the flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? If all the fish of the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?”

Like an eagle that stirs up ¹  its nest, that hovers over its young, so the Lord ²  spread out his wings and took him, ³  he lifted him up on his pinions.

The officials of Succoth said, “You have not yet overpowered Zebah and Zalmunna. So why should we give ¹  bread to your army?” ² 

Now at your own discretion, ¹  O king, come down. Delivering him into the king’s hand will be our responsibility.”
