So the disciples, each in accordance with his financial ability, ¹  decided ²  to send relief ³  to the brothers living in Judea.

When the Gentiles heard this, they began to rejoice ¹  and praise ²  the word of the Lord, and all who had been appointed for eternal life ³  believed.

So now why are you putting God to the test ¹  by placing on the neck of the disciples a yoke ²  that neither our ancestors ³  nor we have been able to bear?

The brothers sent Paul and Silas off to Berea ¹  at once, during the night. When they arrived, ²  they went to the Jewish synagogue. ³ 

But some people ¹  joined him ²  and believed. Among them ³  were Dionysius, who was a member of the Areopagus, ⁴  a woman ⁵  named Damaris, and others with them.

Crispus, the president of the synagogue, ¹  believed in the Lord together with his entire household, and many of the Corinthians who heard about it ²  believed and were baptized.

For Macedonia and Achaia are pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

So then, ¹  whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith. ² 

Through him you now trust ¹  in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

and because of his word many more ¹  believed.

Now ¹  when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.

Now those who had been forced to scatter went around proclaiming the good news of the word.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on the Samaritans, ¹  and they received the Holy Spirit. ² 

But the word of God ¹  kept on increasing ²  and multiplying.

And the disciples were filled with joy ¹  and with the Holy Spirit.

After ¹  the city officials ²  had received bail ³  from Jason and the others, they released them.

But when Paul wanted to enter the public assembly, ¹  the disciples would not let him.

But you yourselves wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters! ¹ 

I am speaking to thoughtful people. Consider what I say.
