And although you were ¹  dead ²  in your transgressions and sins,

You also lived your lives ¹  in this way at one time, when you used to live among them.

For he was still in his ancestor Abraham’s loins ¹  when Melchizedek met him.

Now ¹  Jesus ²  went home, and a crowd gathered so that they were not able to eat.

Now ¹  they had forgotten to take bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat.

After some time ¹  his wife Elizabeth became pregnant, ²  and for five months she kept herself in seclusion. ³  She said, ⁴ 

But I said, ‘Certainly not, Lord, for nothing defiled or ritually unclean ¹  has ever entered my mouth!’
