The prophet ¹  asked, “Where did it drop in?” When he showed him the spot, Elisha ²  cut off a branch, threw it in at that spot, and made the ax head float.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our ¹  consciences from dead works to worship the living God.

then the individual is to shave himself, ¹  but he must not shave the area affected by the scall, ²  and the priest is to quarantine the person with the scall for another seven days. ³ 

But if the priest examines it and ¹  the infection has not spread in the garment or in the warp or in the woof or in any article of leather,

“‘On the second day you must offer twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

His people have been unfaithful ¹  to him; they have not acted like his children ²  – this is their sin. ³  They are a perverse ⁴  and deceitful generation.

The one who touches them must use an iron instrument or the wooden shaft of a spear. They are completely burned up right where they lie!” ¹ 

If, however, the scall spreads further ¹  on the skin after his purification,

The priest must then examine it after the infection has been washed out, and if ¹  the infection has not changed its appearance ²  even though the infection has not spread, it is unclean. You must burn it up in the fire. It is a fungus, whether on the back side or front side of the article. ³ 

Caravans ¹  turn aside from their routes; they go ²  into the wasteland ³  and perish. ⁴ 

He would certainly rebuke ¹  you if you secretly ²  showed partiality!

Is it because of your piety ¹  that he rebukes you and goes to judgment with you? ² 

The folds ¹  of its flesh are tightly joined; they are firm on it, immovable. ² 

Indeed, all the tables are covered with vomit; no place is untouched. ¹ 

So they went away by themselves in a boat to some remote place.

But if there is a reddish white infection in the back or front bald area, it is a disease breaking out in his back or front bald area.

Then if ¹  it still appears again in the garment or the warp or the woof, or in any article of leather, it is an outbreak. Whatever has the infection in it you must burn up in the fire.
