Through faith they conquered kingdoms, administered justice, ¹  gained what was promised, ²  shut the mouths of lions,

So Miriam was shut outside of the camp for seven days, and the people did not journey on until Miriam was brought back in. ¹

Go, my people! Enter your inner rooms! Close your doors behind you! Hide for a little while, until his angry judgment is over! ¹

then the priest is to go out of the house to the doorway of the house and quarantine the house for seven days. ¹

They will be imprisoned in a pit, ¹  locked up in a prison, and after staying there for a long time, ²  they will be punished. ³ 

They do not comprehend or understand, for their eyes are blind and cannot see; their minds do not discern. ¹ 

The Lord said to Moses, “If her father had only spit ¹  in her face, would she not have been disgraced for seven days? Shut her out from the camp seven days, and afterward she can be brought back in again.”

Go and close the door behind you and your sons. Pour the olive oil into all the containers; ¹  set aside each one when you have filled it.”
