You are to make a grating ¹  for it, a network of bronze, and you are to make on the network four bronze rings on its four corners.

my face is reddened ¹  because of weeping, ²  and on my eyelids there is a deep darkness, ³ 

May my tongue sing about your instructions, ¹  for all your commands are just.

The whole earth rests and is quiet; they break into song.

Since many ¹  are boasting according to human standards, ²  I too will boast.

So David and Abishai approached the army at night and found Saul lying asleep in the entrenchment with his spear stuck in the ground by his head. Abner and the army were lying all around him.

On top of each stand was a round opening three-quarters of a foot deep; ¹  there were also supports and frames on top of the stands.
