It will spill into Judah, flooding and engulfing, as it reaches to the necks of its victims. He will spread his wings out over your entire land, ¹  O Immanuel.” ²

Now Jesus’ ¹  mother and his brothers ²  came to him, but ³  they could not get near him because of the crowd.

“As for you, ¹  if you prove faithful, ²  and if ³  you stretch out your hands toward him, ⁴ 

Indeed, ¹  you are ²  my shelter, a strong tower that protects me from the enemy. ³ 

You shrouded yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through.

So ¹  the news ²  about him spread into all areas of the region. ³ 

Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God’s glory.
