And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches ¹  in Christ Jesus.

When ¹  Jesus heard this he said, “Those who are healthy don’t need a physician, but those who are sick do. ² 

He did not need anyone to testify about man, ¹  for he knew what was in man. ² 

But John ¹  tried to prevent ²  him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and yet you come to me?”

For the unconverted ¹  pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions were hungry –

Now we know that you know everything ¹  and do not need anyone ²  to ask you anything. ³  Because of this ⁴  we believe that you have come from God.”

we will get all the timber you need from Lebanon ¹  and bring it ²  in raft-like bundles ³  by sea to Joppa. You can then haul it on up to Jerusalem.”

If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ just say, ‘The Lord needs ¹  it.’”

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to King Nebuchadnezzar, ¹  “We do not need to give you a reply ²  concerning this.

But whoever has the world’s possessions ¹  and sees his fellow Christian ²  in need and shuts off his compassion against him, how can the love of God ³  reside ⁴  in such a person? ⁵ 

Because you say, “I am rich and have acquired great wealth, ¹  and need nothing,” but ²  do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, ³  poor, blind, and naked,

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

Make every effort to present yourself before God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed, teaching the message of truth accurately. ¹

I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner ¹  who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people ²  who have no need to repent. ³ 

For from you the message of the Lord ¹  has echoed forth not just in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place reports of your faith in God have spread, ²  so that we do not need to say anything.

For he does not still consider a person, ¹  that he should come before God in judgment.
