For I tell you, I will not eat it again ¹  until it is fulfilled ²  in the kingdom of God.” ³ 

After this Jesus, realizing that by this time ¹  everything was completed, ²  said (in order to fulfill the scripture), ³  “I am thirsty!” ⁴ 

For these things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled, “Not a bone of his will be broken.” ¹ 

And now I stand here on trial ¹  because of my hope in the promise made by God to our ancestors, ²

Now if their transgression means riches for the world and their defeat means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full restoration ¹  bring?

Now the one who prepared us for this very purpose ¹  is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment. ² 

But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of your hope until the end,

By his sovereign plan he gave us birth ¹  through the message of truth, that we would be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
