They went to the entrance of Gedor, to the east of the valley, looking for pasture for their sheep.

They seized her and took her into the precincts of the royal palace through the horses’ entrance. ¹  There they executed her.

Then he brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the Lord’s house. I noticed ¹  women sitting there weeping for Tammuz. ² 

Below these chambers was a passage on the east side as one enters from the outer court.

The people of the land will bow down at the entrance of that gate before the Lord on the Sabbaths and on the new moons.

He brought me to the entrance of the court, and as I watched, I noticed a hole in the wall.

For thus an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be richly provided for you.

“You are to bring ¹  Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

So Moses did just as the Lord commanded him, and the congregation assembled at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.

“On the eighth day he must bring them for his purification to the priest at the entrance ¹  of the Meeting Tent before the Lord,

He must then take the two goats ¹  and stand them before the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent,

but does not bring it to the entrance of the Meeting Tent to offer it ¹  to the Lord – that person will be cut off from his people. ² 

He must bring his guilt offering to the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, a guilt offering ram, ¹ 

On the eighth day he is to bring ¹  two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the entrance to the tent of meeting.

And they stood before Moses and Eleazar the priest and the leaders of the whole assembly at the entrance to the tent of meeting and said,

Now the Lord energized Elijah with power; ¹  he tucked his robe into his belt ²  and ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

The one who committed manslaughter ¹  should escape to one of these cities, stand at the entrance of the city gate, and present his case to the leaders of that city. ²  They should then bring him into the city, give him a place to stay, and let him live there. ³
