All my closest friends ¹  detest me; and those whom ²  I love have turned against me. ³ 

The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he delivers ¹  those who are discouraged. ² 

You are to make two more ¹  gold rings and attach them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod, close to the juncture above the waistband of the ephod.

Even my close friend ¹  whom I trusted, he who shared meals with me, has turned against me. ²
